dc.description.abstractNowadays, waqf as Islamic social finance is blended with Islamic commercial finance to enhance the welfare of beneficiaries; one example is waqf-based agribusiness. The implementation of land waqf productively is proposed solution to functionate 57.263,69 hectares of waqf land, as well as to enhance the welfare of society in Indonesia. At the same time, poverty is a critical issue in the country and welfare and prosperity society. Therefore, Trubus Enterprise Indonesia (TEI), one of the waqf institutions, had paid attention to the mentioned issues by conducting waqf-based agribusiness establishment in 2012 at Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. The enterprise is selected due to waqf institution achieved National Award of Waqf Board Institution on 2022, National Award of Bank Indonesia on 2023, and accomplish market needs up to 81% in Paser, 19% in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. The research aims to examine the influenceof the waqf program on welfare society with two objectives: the mechanism of waqf program observation and the effect of the waqf program upon welfare employees and society investigation through qualitative and quantitative methods simultaneously. Further, the qualitative consists of documentation and observation or snapshotting method in the mechanism of the waqf program whereas the quantitative method used for surveying the influenceof the waqf program upon welfare society by detailing some aspects are the wage income, the faith of people (praying, almsgiving, and helping index), consumption needs (food, dress, housing, education, and health needs), and financial stability (finance solidity, saving ability, and finance addition). To be concluded, Trubus Enterprise organised the fundraising, determining of program & budget, utilisation of waqf by integrating waqf and mushärakah and ijärah transactions, and distribution of waqf usufruct to society, waqf operation, and Trubus Iman Islamic boarding school. Moreover, the waqf program results significantly by increasing monthly income, the faith of people, consumption needs, as well as financial stability.
